Siana Bellwoar is proud to welcome Associate Attorney, Thomas J. Grant, to the Firm.
To learn more about this outstanding new member of our team, read Mr. Grant’s bio and introduction below.
Originally born in Presque Isle, Maine, Mr. Grant grew up in the Kutztown area of Berks County, PA. He was inspired to pursue a career in law early in life through his interest in debate and conducting research that empowered him to argue in support of a certain position. He attended Allentown Central Catholic High School, the University of Pittsburgh and Kutztown University, where he earned his MBA, before obtaining his JD from Villanova Law.
Mr. Grant spent three years as a law clerk for two different judges. He found working under both Judge Joseph J. Matika of Carbon County and Judge Edward D. Reibman of Lehigh County, two individuals who have been in the legal fields their entire careers, to be highly educational. Through his experience in the courtroom, where he had the opportunity to observe countless attorneys working in a number of different fields, Mr. Grant developed an interest in transactional law, civil rights, land use, and zoning.
“Those were some of the cases I enjoyed watching and researching the most when helping the judges prepare for upcoming hearings or arguments,” he recalls.
Outside of the office Mr. Grant enjoys spending his free time getting involved in anything related to sports: watching them, especially Philadelphia teams, playing them, and talking about them. The Firm extends a warm welcome to Tom!
