Sheryl L. Brown, Michael G. Crotty and John P. Henry Present at the Pennsylvania Association of Code Officials Annual Educational Conference - Siana Law

On June 4, 2015, Siana Law attorneys Sheryl L. Brown, Michael G. Crotty and John P. Henry presented a full-day seminar on the Legal Aspects of Code Enforcement to members of the Pennsylvania Association of Code Officials (PACO). The presentation was given as part of a PACO Annual Educational Conference, before a variety of municipal and third-party agency officials, including building code officials, fire marshals and zoning officers representing agencies across the Commonwealth.

Mike, Sherry and John addressed numerous Constitutional implications involved in the daily workings of code officials, covering topics including: the application of the Fourth Amendment on administrative searches by code officials; the procedures and parameters for obtaining administrative search warrants; and recent caselaw and legislation affecting code officials.
