On July 24, 2022, Siana Law Partner, Sherry Brown, completed a 65-mile bike ride from the Ben Franklin Bridge, Philadelphia, to Atlantic City, New Jersey – otherwise known as the Ben to the Shore (formerly Tour de Shore) along with 2100 other riders. Although the weather was a little warm – with heat records being broken throughout the Philadelphia region, Sherry, a member of the Wheels of Justice Team, was happy to ride the full event (complete with water stops sponsored by first responders) for such a great cause.
The Ride is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve.
For twelve years, the Wheels of Justice Team, with over 250 riders, has been the top fundraising team of Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, raising more than $88,000 this year alone. As of this posting, over $1,000,000 in total has been raised for the Foundation!
Sherry is thrilled to be a part of the ride, and part of the Wheels team as she is passionate about the work of first responders and for the positive impact they make in our community. Sherry is also thrilled that this is a family affair, with her husband Jim once again volunteering his time and energy to support the riders and ensure that the “Wheels” team members safely cross the finish line!
