In participation with the Chester County Bar Association’s Chester County IL Diverse Law Student Program, Siana Law is pleased to welcome Mr. Alex Kungu to the Firm this month.
About Alex
Originally from Boston, Alex grew up playing and watching a lot of basketball. Before entering middle school, he became fascinated with the law when his mother gave him John Grisham books to read. Alex is currently a second year law student who joins us from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University, where Alex concentrates in business and entrepreneurial law, is President of the Sports and Law Society, and intends on participating on the trial team.
Why do you want to practice law?
“I would say that I want to practice law because above all else this field is all about helping people regardless of the practice area. Both of my parents are nurses and have always instilled in me the passion to help others, and I feel that through the law I would be able to do that for people.”
During his internship at Siana Law, Alex will work alongside our attorneys on a variety of assignments. Alex hopes to gain as much experience as possible through working with the attorneys at the firm, and intends to use that knowledge to become a better student and, eventually, a strong attorney. Upon graduating from law school, Alex plans to start in a District Attorney’s office for a few years, then transition into the commercial litigation before pursuing dream of working in an NBA front office. This summer, Alex has enjoyed being in court, interacting with clients and lawyers from around the county, exploring West Chester, and making friends with fellow law students working in the area.
We are thrilled to have Alex on the team this month, and we look forward to working with him and getting to know him better during his time here at Siana Bellwoar. Welcome Alex!
