Siana Law is proud to announce that Eric M. Brown has been named Labor and Employment Law Practice Group Chair.
Mr. Brown has been a partner with the firm since 2012. In his capacity as Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group, he will lead the firm’s attorneys in representing the interests of employers in confronting the legal challenges that arise in the daily management of their operations including the development and enforcement of employment policies, personnel management, workplace investigations, overtime/wage and hour audits, and employee discipline.
The firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group has a reputation for aggressively representing the interests of its employer/management clientele on labor matters including collective bargaining, labor organizing campaigns, and the defense of grievance arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges. The practice group also represents police and fire departments through the Act 111 interest arbitration process.
The Labor and Employment Practice Group has extensive, successful litigation experience in all levels of the court system to defend the rights of employers and public officials from claims alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour (overtime) claims and other alleged civil rights violations.
